Jerome Bettis was drafted 10th overall by the Los Angeles Rams. He rushed for 1,429 yards his rookie season under Chuck Knox.
After the 1993 season, the team moved to St. Louis where Rich Brooks later took over the team as the head coach. Deciding he wanted to go to a pass-happy offense, he gave Bettis an ultimatum.
He told him he could either move to full back on the team or get traded. 10,571 yards later he is a Super Bowl champion headed to the Hall of Fame.
Rich Brooks was fired in 1996, as the Rams later won the Super Bowl in 1999.
