Regarded as the top recruit in the nation by, Brown signed with Tennessee over a month after National Signing Day. Convincing Brown, a longtime Miami commit, to come to Tennessee was Kiffin's crowning achievement during his time on Rocky Top.

Backing up Montario Hardesty, Brown accumulated 460 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground; showing glimpses of what made the Army All-American such a highly-touted prospect out of Wichita East High School in Wichita, Kansas.

After Kiffin's departure to USC, Brown transferred from Tennessee back home to Kansas State.

Brown is expected to be the starting running back this season in Manhattan, Kansas and was voted a first-team All-Big 12 member before even stepping on the field for the Wildcats.
