South Carolina was hoping to fill the void at the linebacker position with several big-time recruits in the 2013 recruiting class. However, the Gamecocks lost Matt Rolin to Florida after he decommitted from South Carolina, and now it leaves the coaching staff scrambling for replacements.

Currently, the Gamecocks have one true linebacker in this class and that's four-star recruit Larenz Bryant. South Carolina has a few other players who are listed at the linebacker position but will likely play elsewhere like Mohamed Camara (most likely the SPUR position) and Gerald Turner (will likely be used in variety of roles).

The need for linebacker is there for the Gamecocks and they've begun to put themselves in the mix for a few talented options heading down the final stretch of the recruiting season.

The following slideshow will break down a variety of options on the table for South Carolina at the linebacker position.
