Only time will tell if the newly formed American Athletic Conference will remain as a BCS conference. Yet for the time being, we will consider the former Big East conference as one of the big six leagues in college football. With the departure of so many programs over the last few years, the AAC now contains a rather depleted group of NFL prospects. That depletion will only become worse as Louisville and Rutgers, arguably the top two programs left, will leave next year. However, there remains some talent, as QB Teddy Bridgewater is slated to be a top five pick next spring.
