There has been no truck more anticipated, nor more spectacular, in every aspect than the one that 2011 Monster Truck Thunder Drags champion Dan Runte debuted for 2012.  The radical Bigfoot 18, complete with a longer wheelbase and radical desert-race body, has been as big an attraction in the sport as Mickey Mouse is at Disney World.

Runte has already captured a championship in his new truck, and has also shown a more aggressive side of driving.  Runte has already torn up three previous bodies on his new truck, rolling over on four different occasions.  That's more times in one season than Runte has rolled in his career.

This year's jamboree season has been a slight struggle for Runte and Team Bigfoot.  The team has made it to the finals on multiple occasions, however they have not broken into the victory column at this point.  This puts Runte in a position where he needs to have a big weekend to make himself a contender.

That's not to say he won't be, because Runte is ready to roll into one of his favorite stops of the year wanting to get a victory for all the Bigfoot fans.  There are not many racing events held in Pennsylvania during the year, so it will be a treat for all the Bigfoot fans to see the radical new Bigfoot in action.

Runte knows what it will take to win, and his new truck has shown to be more than capable of getting its share of victories.

Bloomsburg certainly will be no different.
