In 2012 it seemed like there was a new player for the Red Sox every game due to injuries. One player comes in, gets injured, another comes and this just became a continue cycle for the team. Early in the season the Sox lost Crawford, Ortiz and Middlebrooks all due to injury which forced them to bring up AAA players and this was just the beginning. Having Ortiz in the clean-up spot is what the Sox really need and having Middlebrooks back to back with him brings the lefty-right combination together perfectly as they both slugged over .500 last year but did miss many games. Keep Napoli healthy as well and you just have 3 golden sluggers. If they want to rebuild they need to stay healthy, especially the veterans teaching the prospects.
