I wish I was able to take this debate but I missed out. It depends on what you think the MVP is. Is it the best player on the best team or is it the player who is most valuable to his team. I don't know how you can say guys like Durant or Kobe or Wade or Howard shouldn't even be considered. Lebron is good but he is not so far ahead of those that everyone should vote for him.
I agree with Tito the voting is a joke.
I really don't think it's debatable...his being unanimous MVP. He was by far the best player on the best team. Take him off Cleveland and they don't win 40 games. The real question is...does Lebron deserve all of the accolades he's been bestowed...that is, have we anointed him too soon? That's for another debate I suppose.
Same could be said about Wade or Rose. Any team with only one real star would be a lottery team without that star. But before everyone starts crowning Lebron as the greatest I think close attention should be how other players who went from high school to the pros careers have gone. Garnett, 34, has really started to slow down and injuries are catching up to him and Kobe, 32, is starting to have all these lingering injuries.
LOL thinking if you put ANY on the Cavs instead of Lebron they would be winners...no fucking chance
