Anyone else having a hard time hearing Hunter's fancast. I agree with at least the title of it with Kobe playing hurt and Kobe has been playing hurt for years. Durant is really good but he is not the defender Kobe is
Pretty funny how he didnt even say anything, yet he has two votes....proves my point about people hating on me because im always right
I'm not hating on you. I was one of his votes and I assume he was the other. I just disagree with you
Sounds like Tito needs his diaper changed!
People hate on you for a reason, dude, and I'm actually starting to see it very clearly.
Aside from you being kind a of a jerk, you actually always think you're right, and usually are not. And beyond that, you act as if anyone who opposes you is just stupid if they disagree with you, and your arguments aren't even that concrete. They're mostly opinions or biases.
Kevin Durant- More points this season than Bryant.....more rebounds this season...More blocks, better FG percentage, better 3 pt fg percentage, better FT percentage, gets to the line more...and basically the exact same steals per game....Durant is also a way better dunker, and hes only been around three years. He is better right now. why dont you compare Durants numbers to Bryants in Bryants first 3 years....then hear me laugh at you...if you think Bryant would have put the Thunder where they are right now in place of Durant, you are dead wrong....and as far as my arguments being opinions, thats what everyones are.....duh....but i did just base it with some facts on numbers.....as far as Bryant being hurt....wah wah wah....you are either hurt, or injured...if your injured you dont play, if your hurt you play with no excuses....Kevin Durant is a better basketball player right now, and will be better than Kobe Bryant over all career wise if he can play 10+ years....remember, i dont even put Bryant in my top 50 all-time, im sure you do, because SLAM magazine told you.
Tito it is unfair to compare Durant's first three years to Kobe's since Durant played one year of college ball before coming into the league while Kobe straight out of high school and wasn't a starter till his third year because he was playing behind an all-star in Eddie Jones.
But how about this year since you skipped some things
Kobe 6'6, 32 years old: 27 pts 5 assists 5.4 rebounds 1.6 steals .3 block 45.6% FG 32.9 3pt 81.1 FT in 73 games averaging 38.8 minutes on a team with overall better talent
Durant 6'9 22 years old: 30 pts 7.6 rebounds 2.7 assists 1.2 steals .9 block 46.2 FG% 36.1 3pt 88.2 FT in 82 games averaging 39.5 minutes
Seems hard to me to say hands down Durant is better but again you believe Rivera is on roids in your heart which means 51%
Tito, the fact that you don't put Bryant in your top-50 of all-time shows you're either painfull biased against him, or are misinformed.
Stats aren't the whole picture. And you can't compare Bryant's first three years to Durant's. Kobe wasn't even "the guy" until a few years into his career.
Your argument doesn't hold any water. And yes, everyone has an opinion, but with that opinion, you need a strong argument with facts.
Here's a fact for you:
Bryant is a better play-maker. Look at the assists. He's more clutch. Look at his game-winners compared to Durant.
He has four rings. I don't care about Shaq. He has four rings. You can't take that away from him.
Also, his team just mopped Durant's all over the floor, and are ahead 3-2. Your argument stinks.
i can compare their first three years, Durant is 10 x the player his first three years than Bryant was, and thats not an opinion, thats a fact....you say i cant because he wasnt "The Guy"...yeah, that means he wasnt good enough yet...duh....but im not arguing that anyways, im arguing right now, the present.....you said my arguments are opinions but yours are facts???? Your "facts" points out Bryant is a better playmaker because he has more assists...so thats your cold hard fact, but when i point out more rebounds, points, blocks, fg%, 3 pt fg% and FT% its just my opinion???? how does that work???....oh and by the way, your lame attempt to say Bryant is better because his team is up 3-2 is laughable....dude, The Lakers are defending Champions and the #1 seed and they are only up 3-2 on an extremely inexperienced and way less talented 8th seed...that argument alone makes you look like a fool....well, everything you say makes you look like a fool....fool
oh yeah...better playmaker???....hes a freaking guard yout, of course hes a better assist man....Durant has grown to almost 7 feet..and Bryant only averages 2 more assists....LOL @ Bryant being a great playmaker with a less than 1.5-1 asst to turnover ratio....nice try, but you lose.....this is too easy...i would like to know where you put Bryant all time...top 10? 20? 25?....unlike you, i have watched basketball religiously for 25 years, and i know what im talking about.
The argument of Bryant being a guard makes no sense. LeBron James is a forward and he averages more assists than Bryant does.
I think the fact that you've watched basketball "religiously" for 25 years really hurts your case. It just makes all that time look like a complete waste, because you clearly have learned very little.
"The argument of Bryant being a guard makes no sense. LeBron James is a forward and he averages more assists than Bryant does"
AMe stating a gaurd should have more passing/playmaking skills than a forward makes no sense to you??? wow.So you think a forward should and does have the same playmaking and passing skills than a guard?..You know they are bigger and handle the ball less, right??...you know what, i dont even know what to say to that....you are so irrational and delusional, and know pretty much nothing about sports....seriously
Durant is better than Kobe was at his age. But Kobe's NBA knowledge is what makes him better. Believe me I am not a Kobe fan. I am a Celtic fan, and I love the way the Thunder took it to the Fakers, but they haven't been able to win in LA. Durant did not show up for that game five. He was the one that had to bring it to give his team the confidence they needed. Because of his play in that game and the fact that they now have to win 2 in a row, I give Kobe the edge. I can't believe I am siding with him UGHHH!
I voted for Grogan...I've always been a Kobe hater.
Durant is the shizz, and in the long run I bet both him and Brandon Roy are better.
