So, last night......Can that be the end of my blog post? Yeah. I thought not. It wasn't pretty. The Steelers up early on the only offensive TD of the game by.....none other than backup QB Lord Byron. Who knew he could run? Who knew he could run and make Ravens miss tackles? I didn't see that coming. At. All.Ravens had a great special teams play and blocked their little hearts out for a punt return for a score. The change maker, so they say.Other than that...no one really did a whole lot of anything. Beat each other up. Typical Steelers v. Ravens, right? The mounting injuries are not good. Including backup QB. Now we're on to the backup's backup with not a lot of options past that. And let's be real, nothing should be taken for granted. As I write this, I would not be surprised if QBs on the market are being called in to work out for the Steelers front office and coaches. Deals are sure to be made. And soon. I even think Plax was re-signed tonight. I'm not mad about that. Tall receiver. Knows how the Steelers work. Sure, we'll take him.I've read a few articles today, including this one say Ben could return by the next meeting with the Ravens first weekend in December. I'll believe it when I see it. His injury sounds much worse than just a few weeks rest to recover, but I understand why the Steelers won't show all their cards until absolutely necessary. No reason to alert people to a changed game plan one way or another.Honestly, I didn't think the offense was that awful - considering Byron was hurt on that TD play and progressively got worse. Now, I probably would have put Charlie in for the 4th quarter when it was clear he was injured and couldn't get the ball off. But I just play Monday morning QB and not make those decisions on the field. I believe in Coach Tomlin. So, Steelers fans, don't give up hope quite yet. The season is not dead and gone. Besides that, the Ravens official twitter put out this picture. Maybe the curse will take care of the Ravens for us?!!??Until next week......
