This draft is all about the defense. Not a bad thing. In the 6th round, the Steelers select UCLA linebacker Jordan Zumwalt.
My guess is if he has an immediate impact it will be on special teams. He's mentioned as disruptive and plays fast and furious on the field.
Weaknesses according to his draft profile focus really on strength and movement. Both of which can be added and coached.
I think he's a good pick, but it's very interesting on what part of the defense has been the focus, not that it's bad - definitely long-term impact by the players selected so far.
Training camp will really be interesting this fall. Competition is there for a lot of positions. Opportunity knocks. Let's see who answers.
Not to mention, AFCN football is going to be really fun to watch.
