Steelergurl currently lives in the Washington, DC metro area with her son and is a die hard Steelers fan.  She’s also a public relations strategist, a social media enthusiast and an avid reader.  She grew up in central Pennsylvania, but has been a Pittsburgh sports fan since birth.

She attended the University of Pittsburgh freshman year but ended up transferring to Penn State where she graduated.  She also has a Master’s degree in Marketing from the Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business in Baltimore.

Steelergurl currently works in Washington, D.C. where she helps organizations tell their story through public relations and communications strategies.  She founded her own company in April 2008.  Steelergurl definitely has that entrepreneurial spirit and is always looking for new opportunities.  Steelergurl has lived on both coasts and landed in the DC Metro region more than 10 years ago.

Her roots, however, remain in Pennsylvania.  Steelergurl’s bro currently lives in South Park, PA (a suburb of Pittsburgh) and her parents reside near Wilkes-Barre, PA.
