Just because the Steelers were at home watching games doesn’t mean it was an easy weekend for anyone else.
Just ask the Green Bay Packers who were upset in overtime by the Washington Redskins. Or Giants fans who today are more than happy to engage in water cooler Monday Morning QB discussions now that their team has pulled one off.
And how about the Lions and Bears (oh my)? The only games that were easy to call were the Ravens and Colts. I would have never guessed Oakland, Philly and Tennessee would have ended the way they did.
I’m just glad that the Bengals and Browns lost. I know, that’s not a nice thing to say, but the AFC North needs to maintain it’s rightful order – and it will – as of next week when the Steelers come back to show who’s boss of the top spot. Don’t get me wrong, we can’t take the Browns for granted, after all they beat us last year even after Tomlin said the Steelers would “unleash hell” to get to the playoffs. We all know how that ended.
But it’s a new season, and we have Ben back under center. Steelers fans are ready and anxiously awaiting kick-off next Sunday.
Where will you be watching the game?
(If you want to go to Heinz Field, don’t forget to “like” Steelergurl Tickets! and look at prices for tix on the sidebar!)

I will be watching the game AT HOME!! Here in MD (state of the Ratbirds) the Steeler bars are way overcrowded and my husband won’t let me watch with Raven fans. He knows some one will get hurt. Most likely, one of them.
So, at home with shrimp, shrimp dip, bbq & scoops and whatever else I decide to throw together.
My dog will be wearing his jersey and collar and I will be sporting my #7 jersey proudly!!
