Ben’s back and I’m happy about it.
There are a lot of conflicting emotions in Steeler Nation when it comes to our franchise QB, and he still needs to prove he’s genuine in his change of behavior, but he seems to be on the right path. I’ll take it.
I’m done with his off field performance and strictly thinking about him on the field for the rest of the season.
Last year, Ben threw for 4,328 yards and 26 TDs. While I don’t expect him to have 4,000 yards in 12 games, the Steelers offense should have renewed energy when they take the field against the Browns next weekend. In other words, the Steelers should be confident they are more than a one trick pony with a stellar defense and an offense that can also hold its own. Through those first 4 games, the offense did a great job but let’s keep it real, it’s not the same as having your franchise quarterback in the pocket. Love him or hate him, he’s good. Really good.
Well, welcome back Ben, our season starts now. Let’s kick butt!!
Here we go Steelers!
