Heath Miller Signs for Six More Years

One of my favorite players, Heath Miller (TE), signs a six-year contract and will surely be wearing black and gold through the 2014 season.  Heath is undoubtedly one of the better tight ends in the league and certainly for the Steelers. Last year he had 48 receptions and 3 touchdowns.  He blocks, he catches and he is able to make big plays when we need him.

The offensive scheme, with him now sealed, should add some more plays with him as the key receiver.  He rarely drops a ball.  Consistency is definitely a cornerstone of Miller’s play.

And it allows me the opportunity to still run “Heath Miller” specials in Madden to beat Steelerboy.

Steeler Nation was anxiously awaiting this deal to get done. Miller was the Steelers #1 draft pick in 2005 from the University of Virginia.

Nice extension but I can’t say I’m happy about it
