Feelin' a little Sunday, Sunday

It’s Sunday.  Championship Sunday.

In my opinion, here’s what the Steelers need to do to win:

1.  Play action passes.  Fake the Ravens into thinking TE Heath Miller is there to block then drop him back to catch.  It worked several times against the Chargers and I think will work against Baltimore as well.

2.  Watch for the Ravens defense to move sides right before the snap count when it’s too late to shift offense, they tend to leave either Bart Scott on the side or Ed Reed unaccounted for in the middle – not enough blockers.  Read that and block.

3.  Pay attention  Ngata.  He throws people around like they’re rag dolls.

4.  Don’t give up field position with penalties.  Keep emotions in check.  Let the Ravens be the ones to show their frustration – after all they are tired and worn down, more likely they will jump and do stupid things to draw the flags.

5.  Run the ball.  Use Mewelde and Willie P to their strengths.  The offensive line needs to do their part too, however.

And finally, Ben, do NOT give up the ball.  Throw smart.  Ed Reed is gonna be sittin’ deep just waiting for a mistake.

Here we go Steelers!!

    1st half evaluations:
neither of these teams are at their best, but you’re Steelers are taking better advantage. Cheeseburger completed that one pass to I think Holmes for a TD- great play. Burger was like on his tippy-toes.

That guy is a beast man. One tough bastard.
You were right about Palamula (or whoever) he is a monster as well.
Flacco looks like he was a bit off…back to work, I go.
